Worldline, in collaboration with Febelfin, hosted an information session for journalists about AI and fraud in Belgium. During this session, the two organizations provided the press with insights into the current landscape of online fraud, how it affects consumers, and the steps that can be taken to protect sensitive information. As a leader in the payment industry, Worldline also showcased its innovative AI-driven solutions for fraud detection and prevention, highlighting how these technologies are effectively combating cybercriminals and enhancing online security.
We were asked to support the event by facilitating media outreach in different steps of the project, ensuring the message reached the right audience and reinforced Worldline's commitment to a safer online environment for all.
Our approach:
- We organised an information session for Belgian journalists, focusing on AI and fraud. The session provided insights into the latest figures on fraud in Belgium and showcased the advanced solutions Worldline has developed to combat cybercrime.
- We crafted a press release highlighting key data on fraud in Belgium and the role of AI in developing secure payment solutions.
- We distributed the press release to the event participants and key journalists unable to attend, ensuring extensive media coverage.
Our results:
- The information session successfully attracted 6 journalists to the event, including a representative from Belga.
- In total, we secured 17 articles in prominent general and business media, increasing public awareness of Worldline’s expertise and innovative AI-driven solutions.
